Joey Kelly

It was the middle of the night when Joey Kelly was woken up by screams coming from the other room. He had spent the night at his cousin’s house who had long been his best friend. His cousin’s father had been kicked out of the house and his parents were in the midst of a divorce. But the father had come back and fighting could now be heard from the other room. Joey’s aunt started screaming for help. But when Joey came out of his room, the voice suddenly stopped. What he witnessed next would scar him in more ways than one. And he would be left questioning God, “How could you let evil win in such a big way?”
