Matt Barkley

Matt Barkley knows he’s not the best athlete on the field, but people do notice something different about him.

Being the star quarterback for the USC Trojans was an honor for Matt Barkley. Several of the last few starting quarterbacks before him: Mark Sanchez, Matt Leinart, and Carson Palmer, all established a presence in the NFL. That fate soon followed for Matt as well.

During this film, Matt was a junior at the University of Southern California with a platform in which the spotlight was shining on his every move, including his faith in Christ. A faith that kept him at the school in the wake of a coaching change, NCAA sanctions against the school, and the temptations of the NFL. A growing faith that made a difference at his school and in the lives of others.
