Often invisible to those within its grasps, though obvious to any observer, addictions consume so many lives. Whether its related to sex, substances, or some other perceived need, addiction overwhelms a person’s sense of identity and willpower. And has the sad tendency to eat away at relationships with equal fury as it does a people’s bodies and minds.
While many addictions can be traced to bad decisions or judgments made early in the process, by the end addiction leaves the user little actual choice. The only choice left to most is the ability to cry for help. A cry that these stories show God is faithful to hear.
